Cardiospermum halicacabum extract is valued for its ability to produce a cortisone-like effect without the potential side effects associated with prolonged corticosteroid use. This effect is mainly attributed to the phytosterols found in the flowering tops of the plant.
Anti-inflammatory and Anti-allergic properties:
Due to its cortisone-like action, Cardiospermum halicacabum helps reduce inflammation and allergic skin reactions, relieving symptoms such as redness, itching, irritation and eczema. It works by inhibiting enzymes involved in inflammatory processes.
